OUT! Am I not lucky? LOL. And part of me really just wants to stay at home. Tonight I'm headed over to my sis (I'm staying at her house b/c she has an extra bed) house and then over to moms. My aunt is staying at my moms....that is part of the reason why we don't want to stay at moms....she gets on your nerves! We are going to Villiage Inn Pizza for Karoake and drinks. I plan on NOT drinking a lot b/c last time I ended up throwing up...ick. I don't wanna do that again! I think it was b/c I mixed beer and liquor. Anyway...I have too muc fun when I let my hair down lol. The kids just stress me out and alcohol makes me feel so GOOD! :)
Today I went grocery shopping with all 4.......what a MISTAKE! But they had no school, and we needed groceries (I go every fri). The boys were all major pains in my butt. Drew kept running off, Josh kept screaming, and Eli kept buggin for everything in the store! At least Megan was good! OH MY GOODNESS! I could see people looking at me with pity in their eyes...like"thank goodness that isn't me!!" I sure do get a workout grocery shopping though, I was sweating like a pig!
Now I'm waiting for hubby to get home so I can take off. I should probably go and clean up some more.....nah. It will be a major sty when I get home anyway....yay.

oh no!
This morning the first thing that i noticed was that it was freezing. Not just cold like it normally is----but FREEEEEEEEEZING! I put on some warm clothes and went downstairs to check the thermostat. The kids had turned it up to 78 but it was only at 58. I immediately called Chad who said he messed with it this morning before he left but he had to get to work. Work is obviously more important esp if we have to pay someone to repair it. At least it's not bitterly cold outside, it was 39 when I brought the kids to school. Eli even said "Mom it feels warm out here!" lol not quite but for some reason it did feel warmer out there then in our house! My fingers and toes feel numb right now which is crazy b/c 58 really isn't that cold!
We had conferences w/ Eli & Megan's teachers last night. It's good! Their teachers had nothing but positive good things to say about my kids! Mrs Braman (Megs teacher) can't believe the changes in her since the beginning of 3rd grade...she's like a totally different child. Could be b/c she's on meds for her ADD, but it helps her SO MUCH! And Eli is coming along, he struggles with reading and writing only b/c it bores him---- just like his daddy! Megan loves to read---just like me!! Eli also strives to make his teachers happy so he works hard. I'm so proud of my kids...they are amazing!!

So thankful!
I'm thankful b/c Josh can now get therapy at Mary Freebed. He doesn't need a ton of therapy now that he's walking but they can certainly help. We qualified for 100% help from community financial aid. Yippee!
I do want to say I'm a little frustrated w/ all the drs appt and therapies we have to go to. Poor Josh is so moody. WE had to go to the orthopaedic dr this morning, first I went to the wrong office, then it's a huge treck to the office once we got there so I'm huffing and puffing and sweating like crazy trying to get there b/c we were SO late lol and I wore heals and I was carrying a heavy 2 yr old and dragging a 5 yr old AND it was on the 3rd floor!
Anyway, Josh had to get x-rays done and he was throwing a huge fit. The dr comes back and says everything looks great (thank God) and he doesn't see any problems. So pretty much a wasted trip (and $35 copay lol) But now we have the peace of mind that everything w/ his hips is okay.
I have to decide which therapies to keep at Kenosha since we'll be adding on from Mary freebed. Josh and I can only handle so much, this on top of me donating plasma twice a week, and everything else I have to do!
I'm so thankful for everything God has given us.

girls night!
Tonight I'm excited to say I get to get away again :) I'm so lucky! Megan and me are meeting our friends Tara, Becky & her daughters Riley and Zoey, and Kate and her daughter Kinsey. we are staying at a holiday in express and plan on swimming, playing Tara's Wii (I've never played before!), and us older girls having a few drinks and playing games once the kiddos fall asleep.
The only thing that worries me is they are predicting a snow storm for tomorrow when we're supposed to be driving home. It's 40 minutes in good weather. So, pray for good traveling weather for tomorrow!
I got my workout finished, now it's time to have some fun! Well after I get the kids from school, I'll help Megan pack up, Chad should be home around 4 and Megan and I will be off. Chad and the boys are going to church tonight, there is a soup/movie night to raise $ for Christian education (which we are apart of). Hope the boys are good!! Josh didn't get a nap, I put him down and left him up there for 2 hrs but he didn't sleep. Oh well, sorry hon, I tried.
Off to get Drewy!!

Exercise
So I'm trying to lose 10 lbs mostly b/c I'd like to be able to wear a bikini this summer, I haven't worn one since before Megan was born! 10 years! Well and also b/c my self esteem is pretty low. A guy at Biolife (where I donate plasma) heard me say "yes!" when he weighed me b/c my weight was 1 lbs lower then last Thursday! He said "what?" I said "I'm trying to lose weight and it's down 1 lb" he said "oh really? Why are you trying to lose weight? You look great" He made me blush! BUT, the one man I really want to get compliments from doesn't give them. I'm hoping if I start looking "toned" maybe he'll notice me?? Or notice that I'm taking care of myself? Although the house is suffering....I should get off here :)
So 6 days a week I'm exercising. My kids have kind of just accepted it that in the afternoon mommy exercises. I do it while Joshy is napping. I usually let Drew play the computer (if he's not in school). I just started doing Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and OH MY GOODNESS. they are killers! I had to pause BFBM 3 times b/c I felt dizzy and like I was going to throw up!!!
I already did 30 days of the 30 day shred and it did make me a little more toned, and I did lose 3 lbs (now 4). I'm also hoping to run my first 5K this spring!! I'm hoping if I strength train & get my endurance up I should be able to run the 3miles better. I can already run 3 miles but it kills me and I have to go slow.
Anyway...I have to make dinner. we're having salmon (the kids fish sticks) asparagus and squash.

frustration
I'm feeling a bit of frustration with my kids today. Megan just won't clean her room! No matter what we take away or do she just won't do it!!! I told her if she cleaned her room I'd buy her some new shoes, she was very excited for a bit but still didn't clean up her room. I get her started, tell her what to do, help her. It doesn't matter!! The girl cannot keep her room clean and once it's messy cannot clean it. I will have to go in there and once again spend hours cleaning it. I hate doing it. We think we need to just get rid of everything in there but her clothes, and maybe get rid of most of them too so she can learn to take care of what she has.
The boys are rough with each other, Eli is mean to Drew, Drew is mean to Josh, and Josh is mean to smaller children (at church nursery or at the nursery where I donate plasma) he will push babies down and steal toys from them!!! How do I get them to get along and be nice???

Happy Valentines Day!
Happy Valentines Day! Even though we aren't doing anything b/c hubby thinks it's a stupid holiday. He is being nice and getting us Beltline Bar for dinner....wet burritos just perfect for my diet LOL!
I was feeding the kids dinner and Josh let out a huge fart and starts laughing. How hard is it not to laugh when your 2 yr old does this? Now fart humor IS the best (I grew up in a strange household I know lol). I have a hard time with burps too. Sometimes it's just not appropriate but I can't help but laugh! Holy cow, I need to grow up I guess but it's so hard. Our 7 year old son Eli lets out the most humongous burps...so gross...he thinks it's hilarious and it used to be but now it's just old and nasty! He does it at school, at church, everywhere and I don't know how to get him to stop!!! It's all our fault b/c it started with us laughing!!!

My Blog
Hello Blog,
What do you write in a blog anyway? hehe. :) just kiddin. I think I'm going to share things that happen in my life b/c it's pretty crazy around here taking care of 4 kids, 3 pets, and a hubby. Oh yeah and me!
I'm 29 years old and a SAHM to 4 amazing, beautiful, stubborn, crazy kids. Megan is 9 and in 4th grade at Oakdale Christian, Elijah (Eli) is 7 and in 1st grade, Andrew (Drew) is 5 and in preschool, and Joshua (Josh) is 2 and goes to Kenosha for therapy b/c he was diagnosed w/ PVL (he had a MRI 1 yr ago) and Cerebral Palsy. He just started walking 1 week after his 2nd birthday! The kids amaze and frustrate me daily.
Today Josh had therapy first thing, Lea Ebols comes over and does play therapy. He likes things that he can put into other things. How to explain that? hmmm. She is very good with him. We've taught him many signs: he knows more, all done, cracker, cookie, eat, drink, and please.
After therapy Josh, Drew, & me went grocery shopping to Aldi and then Meijer. It's alway an adventure, today Drew kept hiding from me....he'd hide under racks or around the corner...it was very frustrating for me. Josh thank goodness was good today.
Then we rushed home, unloaded the Burby, fed the boys lunch, and quick got Drew ready for preschool. Beth Skillen (bless her) picked Drew up and took him to school (she takes him M&F and I do W). I quick gulped down some lunch and did my 30 day shred (jillian michaels) and then ran on my treadmill for 40 minutes (3 miles). I'm training for my first ever 5k and I'm also trying to lose 10 lbs. I hope to be able to run it in 30 minutes by spring.
After that I went and picked up Drew from school and came home. We waited for the others to get dropped off (they ride the bus!!) they watched some PBS while I got some stuff done. We had pancakes and sausage for dinner then Megan & I went to Walgreens to pick up some makeup (maybelline B1G1F!!) then to Kohls to look at the clearance racks. Didn't find much. Now I"m home and thinking about putting together a vodka/oj and watching my greys/private practice I tivo'd from last night.
G-night!!!
